Should be worth a fair bit, all the manta 1.8 parts have gone up loads due everyone buildgin rwd xe's.
Yea your right Phill. Ive just been on a few website/clubs and the sump on its own goes for around ?150 and with the rwd mount its around ?200. I did not expect that plus ive got the rwd mount aswell !

If you happened to have the 1.8 gearbox and flywheel ect... you would have been sitting on a small fortune.
yea but unfortunately all i have are the sump, mounts and flywheels and clutch. So i know all that is worth atleast ?150
doesn't everyone just find a scrapped omega 16v?

^^ have thought the same to be honest but the ecotec sumps are very different (not sure on the rear drive ones) and most omegas Ive seen are autos. Still a omega box will fit the xe but, it might be due to the size? or something

I sold one on ebay years ago - fetched good money - just make sure you mention Escort, RWD, Rally and C20XE in your ebay advert and you'll be quids in !!
Last few I watched were

and

I've got one on a spare engine in the workshop :thumb: so guess where that will end up

Thanks for that dave, but before i put it on ebay ill post it on here first to give some of the lads the first hand choice of having it

I used to have an omega estate 2.0 16v with a manual box. it managed to make a big car go very quick. then the cat packed up & a mechanic sort of decatted it & it flew..... most rwd conversions need the sump to be hacked about a bit to clear a crossmember.
ah alot a lads are using omage bits now, eco sump bolts on just needs slight modding. and the box fits but the bulk head needs modding/baitinglol the manta 1.8 sump would be worth around 100 pound atleast on its own.
