dam handbrake cable again

hi, still having problems fitting a handbrake cable to my disc beam on the nova.

i was advised to buy the short cable (o/s) from a mk1 cav, but that was too short and the origonal nova short cable is too long.

any other sugestions? im in a rush as i have an event coming up and want to do some testing first

anyone? its realy pissing me off the cars been off the road for a month now for a simple disc conversion.
what cables have other people used for disc conversions

Think theres actually a long and short 'short' cable, either go back to the motor factors and get another one or just extend the cable you've got with some threaded bar ... thats what i did.

cool il try that, will have to waight until tuesday now to get my short cable back from the motor factors

Yeah the cav one is too short, you're supposed to extend the threaded bar bit thats what i did.

got it done, it was the mk1 cav short cable, went and got another one from a different MF.
finaly got the dam car back on the road, need to bled the brakes a tad more i think
