Pretty much nothing im afraid. Its an SPi engine, which was made for economy, not speed!

If you have plenty of no claims, your only hope is an engine swap for a 1.4 / 1.6 or even a 2.0 of some kind. If you dont, leave the engine alone and concentrate on making it minty mint IMO.

Gremlins lol

Best option is to concentrate on handling and braking, and losing as much weight as you can.

Minty clean, near std cars draw just as much attention as modded ones nowadays.

best mod to a base spec 1.2 is some sports seats from a GTE or similar.

Sit lower & dont fall out the chairs on roundabouts.

More IMO - just see how many ebay links are posted up to tidy looking cars, most of which are base spec.

AFPMSL of course I meant the car, way to misinterpret a post and go straight for the Intarweb Keyboard Kill lol

For the record, I am suitably well endowed :thumb:

TBH I'd leave the engine alone apart from making it a bit cleaner and a bit more shiny.

Have a look at Shaun O'Donnells yellow MK1 Saloon, Looks fantastic but its only an ickle engine.

Bear in mind once you start swapping engines you'll need to change the gearbox, upgrade suspension, brakes, change exhaust, logbook etc etc.
