Ecotek and red top

Might be a simple question that I should know the answer, but for conformation, stripped down to the bare bones ie. bottom end, crank pistons, head etc, what is the difference between the red top and the ecotek engine 20l 16v? :roll:

Everything is different tbh. I think the cranks/blocks are interchangeable, not sure what else.
