i remember being pulled over in my mums nova many years ago and the officer said to me "didnt think novas were still in one piece!" 2weeks later it was a rotten shell going to the scrapy

I have been pulled many, many times. I'd say 50+!! Out of all of those times I have only been breathalised once, and it was 3am christmas morning TW@TS!!I have never done anything wrong (well, never been caught ;))and have no points or convictions but my 1st Nova was a copper magnet! It wasn't overly modded (had mainly upgraded with items from other Vauxs) so that can't be the reason... I did once do a 'pop!' at a bouncer on my way past a club in town (the short, fat fugly cnut called me a fat slag on my 18th birthday-for no reason) and the police were looking for me, luckily I got pulled by the nicest of the Wilmslow Constabulary- a young fella on his own, so I got away with it :p Although that was a few years ago lol

i was pulled by the police nearly every night, most of the coppers round eher new me as did the receptionist on the front desk of local cop shop (well she knows a bit too well ;))

the most memeromable night was pulled 3 times within 5mins

for some reason every single copper used to tell me to change my attitude, meh

Its great when they pull you over in the rain and ask you to get in there car. Did you know you can ask for a umberlla before you get out of the car, of course there not best pleased when they have to hold it for you :D. And another one you can lock you doors and open your window just enough for them to put the producer through lol love it

I think it used to upset them everytime they tried to find somthing wrong and never managed to. Its funny, since i sold my nova been driving my mk2 astra gte and only been pulled once, for no seatbelt. I used to get pulled all the time in my nova.

^^ same, and yes its half the reason i want to sell my nova, was pulled over the other night and given a ?30 fine for a rear light out and my MOT passable exhaust being loud!

i can get away with anything in newer standard cars or the mondeo!

I got pulled in my first car, a fester, because the brake light was blown. Though it was christmas eve so they were probably just interested to know if I was drink driving. Amazingly I was never pulled in my nova, I even got stuck at traffic lights when I couldnt get the thing into any gear and they just laughed.

second time was getting pulled for speeding :(

third time was when i had just bought the TD. the copper pulled me because i was going slow :wtf::confused: lol and cos when he did a plate check it still came up registered to the previous owner

before you agree to the fine, go to the back of there car and ask to check there lights . if any are blown then the chances are they wont be giving you a fine.

talking of getting pulled me and my mate got pulled last night in his corsa. the coppers were young and power freeks thought they new everything. they tryed to ring the insurence company at like 11.00pm expecting them to be open to check all his mods were listed. then they moved onto the fine book and said we were speeding which the driver just took and will be taking to court as they have no evidence and we wernt speeding anyway.

my missus got pulled because the drivers door lock was hanging out, they thought she'd stolen it, then to make good her escape, she'd put car seats & children in it then gone shopping...................
we think some idiot had tried to force the lock to break in. it they must have been retarded cos anyone can break into a nova without going anywhere near the locks

i was once pulled for suspected drug dealing in my first nova (red with a blue front end following an incident with a hedge).... i had left my road (where they thought i was dealing and followed me from). he didnt look to impressed when i told him where i was from and where i was going, til he saw my grandma in the passenger seat who i was taking home....
"i'll be on my way shall i officer?"

the only other time i was pulled, i spotted the copper as i came round a corner, he pulles me over about a mile upthe road and said " i heard you coming before you got round the corner, but since i didnt see anything, just watch how you go". cant really argue with them, they were only doing their jobs (although with the first one, not very well)

I only got pulled once in the Nova and got told off in carparks cos my mate in his White Nova drove like a t**t then left and the old bill turn up and I got an earful cos i done it :wtf: .


Brother always got pulled in the Starbo for no seatbelt cos of the harness but i haven't been pulled once, don't intend to either. And the Starbo has more reason to be pulled over :roll:

I'd be quite happy to be pulled for something like that. You'd be pissed if somebody had stolen your Nova and the cops ignored the fact it blatantly looks stolen, wouldn't you?

the second and last time was the same copper.

Got pulled many times in the Jetta, but that was really the only car i ever got attention in. Even when the blue nova was on the road with the bodies!

One copper pulled me purely to ask about the car as he was a VW nut, and he even asked me to give it some beans when i pulled away!

Officially i have been PULLED once and that was because they tried saying my mate didn't have his belt on in the back when he quite clearly did as we had set off 2 mins before and i allways warn them to put belts on. They then chcked all tyres etc.. which were fine.

The other 2 times i was parking up to drop my mate off when the cops came up behind me.

1 of them times the cop just wanted to make sure it was a nova as he hadn't seen any on the road in a bit and thought they had all been burnt out or sent scrappies lol

And the other the women said the car looked like it was bouncing as i came down the road, but that was the 1st night i got insured and had been on road like 3 hours lol.

it was A reg & parchment beige, and it was worth maybe ?300. it probably needed stealing

I once got pulled in a diesel mk2 astramax van by a police Ka in coventry... the van only had side mirrors & I could hear a siren but couldn't see a police car, so I kept going. after a mile, they managed to overtake me & stop me. they thought i was trying to outrun them!!!lol

they had been right behind me all of the time & I couldn't see them. they made me get out & sit in the back of the police ka, I asked them if they thought I could actually fit in it, I did but they had to get the seats right forward.... got a producer & a right good laugh. I even asked them if they'd got to the station late & got only thing left.
