Track Day!

thats me back from my first track day and first time i have driven the car on tar out of 2nd gear! :lol: really enjoyed it, i wasnt the slowest there either.. was quicker than a couple of 205's, novas, civic, rover 25 with vvc engine which i was very pleased with.
car went great all day (couldnt believe it!), we tweeked the carbs after 2 runs and what a difference..got moe fuel going in.
i was running on road tyres (all different :lol: ) and coilovers that are set up for forest..the only good things on the car was the brakes! ha ha
had one or two wee moments, nothing major though..back end skipped out a few times, and wanted to go straight on coming into some corners at times.

INCAR- the squeeking noise you can hear is the back arches scraping..
also on one of the videos my gear knob came off about 1.10 so i had to change gear with the stick..lol :lol:

thanks CP, i think i was the youngest person there..lol

i wouldnt mind going up again but i would end up getting too serious and having to build a 1600 nova with lsd, adjustable tca's, coilovers all round, better brakes, lightweight etc... lol

i could see it happening..

or maybe i should go and play once my rally car is built..it should be ok for that track..
