I thought I would share with you my two current projects - my rally car and mk1 SR that I recently purchased

It is pretty standard internally and externally although it is running Bilstein Front and Rear shockers with uprated tarmac springs.

The engine is a 1.4NV with an unknown make highlift cam, and lightened/balanced flywheel. Car has only had 5 previous owners and last owner had for 9 years. Has Janspeed competition exhaust full system/4 branch manifold/K&N filter, strut brace and GripperDiff
It will be staying totally standard outside and inside. The interior is like new - no wear to seats or drivers bolster, and no stains at all. It still has factory fitted stereo which will stay if I can make the bloody thing work!
Hopefully it may see some road rallying at some point, but plenty of work to do. Drivers door need "attention..", as does the boot floor corner but generally it is very strong - front inner wings/suspension/battery tray/sills/rear turrets/front crossmember very very good!
Im on the look out for rubber bump strips that are missing from passenger side rear 1/4 and front wing....

Fox alloys replaced with standard ones with BF Goodrich directional tyres - very, very impressed with them!

This is my rally car that I built from the shell of a 1991 1.0 Trip. Bought originally stolen/recovered this was the worst shell I have ever seen but was masked very well!! Once shot blasted the battery tray/bulkhead was non existant, sills were dying, holes in the floor, rear turrets, boot floor. . . Luckily my co owner and co driver is a very good welder and after a new battery tray/sills (inner and outer), patched floor - oh and bulkhead behind dashboard cut and welded in it was solid. After seem welding and a paintjob the shell was transformed!!
14 other Novas have been sacrificed to make this complete with each donating a wealth of parts that have been either used or stored as spares.
The spec now is as follows:
1300 SR engine with Blydenstein B head
Hepolite pistons
Lightened and balanced crank
Lightened and balanced flywheel
F10 box with GripperDiff
1.7td Cavalier Front Brakes
GreenStuff Pads
Drilled and grooved disks
Bilstein adjustables all round
Aeroquip internal fuellines
Internal brake pipes
Kevlar tank guard
5mm sump guard (ally)
Sparco Seats
Willans Harneses
Safety Devices Roll Cage with solid diagonal
Plummed in fire extinguiser
Remote engine stop/extinguiser release
Strut Brace front and rear - rear built into cage
