How the heck do i get the window windors off the bloody door skin ive managed everything else but dont seem to be able to find any screw or pop off bit .... HELP ASAP as car is outside in bits and startin rainin :cry:

theres a clip behind the winder, use screwdrivers or get a special tool, but without that its trail and error

As said, it's a tricky little circlip. Try using a tea-tower or thin rag slotted in and pull on one side, one after the other !

Usually after a while it'l pop the clip off

Or buy the proper removal tool.

I usually bend a nail at 90 degrees then run it behind the winder - does not take much pressure to get circlip out - just keep an eye where it flies off to !

jam a small screwdriver under one side, and wind the winder against it, pushes the little begger right into reach

Managed .... thanks lads ... i was messing round with it for ages then come and had a look then made the thread , then whent back out then my mate come up and did it straight away ... god knows how he knew about that !

PS : Next time Vauxhall make a new nova , i personally think they should make a pop off cover with a screw behind it like the inner door handles .

I have an old paint scraper with a chunk cut out so it fits in onto the clip, it saves them flying off at high speed & getting lost
