atleast she is'nt dead is what i mean by a happy ending. would be too easy to kill the child everyone is looking for when the whole country knows the girl is missing. same with the mcanns, why would anyone keep madeline alive when the whole world is/was looking for her. it's just too much of a risk of getting caught. very sad but i dont think maddy will ever be found. poor little girl!:(
Its not very often they turn up safe and well more often than not its a tragic ending......

Yes that is posible, but why keep a girl as a publicity stunt?
At the end of the day that bloke is guilty for kidnap.
I was following this on TV, the estate where she lives doen't look like a very nice place and the family situation reminds me of a lot of some of the children of extended families whom I work with at school. Not many of 'my' kids are looked after particularly well and it makes me think the same of her. 'My' kids are often overlooked due to large family size or poor parenting and lead a very hand to mouth existence. This girl wasn't reported missing until late because the family thoguht she was just out - fairly poor parenting...I saw a map of her walk home from primary school, its a long way and to do it alone?? There is clearly a duty of care issue gone amiss with that family - the primary school should have picked up on it though unless a lot of the kids walk home alone and that is the norm there (it isn't the case around here).
Sorry about the rant, it just makes me angry when there are people who struggle to raise their kids properly and do the best for them, then you get people who pop out a million and let them all grow up free range and feral.
