This may be really old, but i couldnt find anything on the search filter.
Its the story of some guy doing up his nova, unsure if i like it or not, but one things for sure this man put a hell of a lot of work into this.

^^^ i'm guessing you guys are all pretty young?

that car is a fair few years old now, it did the rounds at the shows, got a fastcar cover and then as far as i remember it got ripped to pieces because it was rusty as hell / it was sh!t*

I can remember when this was on the front cover. I thought it was great.then i grew up lol. Its was ok in like the 2000 but im glad the style has changed and for the better! IIRC he went throught loads and loads of driveshafts due to big power and big wheels (crazy)

must admit, when that was getting built, people were 'the daddies' if they managed to squeeze 17's on a nova.

if you mentioned 18's you were classed as clinically insane,

and then he built that on 19's!

the nutter lol

lol lol without trying to offend anyone who`s into that sort of styling, i wouldnt actually WANT to see it in the flesh lol

It looks well "executed" in the pics??? looks alot better in terms of finish compared to most piles of sh*te you see driving around with their badboy bodykits falling to peices, and filler everywhere :tard:

One of the better kingdom kitted novas Ive seen. It goes to show just how big a wheel you need to stop the bumper looking ludicrous. On that car it just looks silly, not ludicrous lol

At the time it was a feat of engineering! lol

Seriously it was fashionable all those years ago, so its hardly fair to say its rubbish etc!

Its like looking at old pics from the late 90s and slagging off tracksuits.

I remember looking at this when I was in school and that was an AGE ago! ;)

twas about 7 years a go I saw that when it had the gold wheels on it at uxbridge auto show, was on our PNG stand and it was good from a distance but an absolute shower of sh1t close up and rotten as hell.

The only good thing about that I can see is the engine, in all honsety I can't see how people actually think that looks good? Are they high? If so get me to smoke some of it and maybe i'll think the same way!! lol

Ok, he's spent alot of time, money and hardwork on it but I can't see why he bothered when big bodykits were only really respected by the Max Power crew.

In your opinion ;)

I used to buy those sort of mags years ago, i didnt have internet and it was the only legal w*nk material i could buy in the shops lol

I didnt like half of the cars featured back then either
One car/pick up i`ll never forget though if anyone remembers...
That kawasaki green escort pickup, had a tuned RST heart with 4wheel drive IIRC, i had the poster on my wall lol

Carisma`s tvr was quite good too

Yeh K's a legend - really nice bloke, I still see him every now and then.

The car was turned into a convertable, then some 20's were put on it, but it was never finished and got scrapped.

And by all account his styling ideas are very successful (even though not my cup of tea..)

See his website - http://www.xquisiteautomotive.co.uk/

Nice guy Karthik, but thats what you had to do back then to get a front cover in Fast Car, in fact (excluding Total Vauxhall magazine) that's the last Nova I can remember getting a front cover of a magazine?????
