Rear Bumper Bracket ...

i need a rear mk1 bumper bracket you know the 1 that slides in to the carrier , it looks like its bonded to the bumper itself , the 1 on my car has disintegrated or i would be able to fashion 1 myself BUT seen as my template has rotted away im now stuck to do wot , wot to do ? GaZ.:) .

Sounds like a new bumper to me is needed, I'm afraid.

I belive it is possible to make one and fit it but the time it takes it would be easyer and maybe cheaper to replace the bumper, or not bother at all like most run around novas do...

I think i remember replacing mine with a less rotten one from a scrappy once.
Didn't think they were bonded on.... although I may have riveted mine on.
