So a good mate and I went off to Bristol (Thornbury) as its only a 20 minute drive - to get his RS Turbo engines KA set up on the rollers....

En route whilst driving quite quickly on the M4 the top rad hose blew, leaving us stranded and coolent-less! Soooo we nursed it to Chepstow and bought some bodger tape which worked a treat and we were on our merry way once more...

When we arrived at said establishment (45 mins late) we were told that the car was still leaking slightly and it needed to be fixed - Fair enough!

So 2 hours and 30 minutes later we are told that they have ran out of time and the rollers are booked by someone else! We were quite angry about this...

BUT, we were even more angry (read as mortified) when we receive a bill for ?250!!!

This was for 2 1/2 hours labour and ?16 for a silicon bend (pipe) oh and 4 jubilee clips!!!!

So to fix a leak, which we managed on the side of the road with a flat blade screw driver, takes them 2 AND A HALF HOURS!!!!!

Moral of the story.... Interpoop are rubbish! lol

Yep it was the great Interpro.

And yes, we did pay, as they said that we couldnt have the car back if we didnt, and I had the dentist at 2!

Yes, I blew an engine to bits on their rollers lol

They also fixed it for me at a kind of fair price seeing as the block was completely mashed. I came away with good things to say about them.

Then it blew up again beginning of last season only 2 years and probably only 6K's worth of driving, so my opinion changes somewhat. Kicking myself I didnt do the repair myself, but I was stranded and the price was reasonable.

Meh.

have to say though, some of the comments on MIG are valid... If THEY did the work fixing it then they should get paid etc... A naff lesson in life I thinkg
