Right, Im currently converting a 1.4 8v carb nova to an XE. I plan to use the car as an everyday runner, not a track car. I just got a trade account at my work (I work for a local motor factor) and need a few questions answering before I go and rinse out on car parts and get myself in to debt (again).
Fueling
Its carb, so whats the best/cheapest method of getting fuel from the tank to the engine bay? I obviously gonna need to change the lines, what diameter lines will I need? What fuel pump and tank do I need - GSI or modify the excisting tank and mount fuel pump in the engine bay?
Driveshafts
I was gonna use GTE 22 spline shafts with mk2 cav 1.6 inner CVs. Will these suffice for road use?
