bottom end knocking

as i was washing my car today a bloke said to me that my bottom end is knocking lol now i cant say i herd it but this may be as i dont know what im listening for?? what could this mean?:confused: the engines done just over 100,000 miles is it time for a re-build? thanks in advance :thumb:

check your oil levels ok. If you can't hear anything unusual with the bonnet up and your head in the bay then chances are there's nothing wrong. If theres a rattling noise try pressing the clutch down and see if it goes away. If it does chances are your clutch release bearings knackered.

oil levels are fine checked them last weekend ill go have another listen lol thanks mate

Its probably just a tappy top end.
