what can i do to increase its performance. i am a student so i need cheap mods. the stying is sorted just need the performance to match the look.

well ive got the same engine half stripped out my old car, got i 1.2 in my current car

once i get the engine out im gonna do the following:

fit 1.2 head
fit 1.3SR intake manifold and carb
fit 1.3SR exhaust system (incl 4-2-1 manifold)
fit 5 speed CR 'box
that should get it upto around 75-80 brake and also dump the shitey injectors

then once i get some more cash i'll get a decent cam, fit webers and possibly have the head ported and polished

that hopefully will get around 100brake

if i was you id just buy a gte/gsi engine and ancillaries for bout ?150

yeh just get a GTE/GSI as it will bolt stright in without taking an engine to bits,
