has anyone got a conversion guide and a parts list for and the 1.6 xe whats the difference beetween the x16xe and is it the s16xe cheers:thumb:

s16xe ?? you mean c16xe

main difference is the fact the c16 didnt have a factory immobilser. conversion is a straightforward engine swap and wiring it up is only 5 wires iirc

try reading adams WIP as he dit the swap a while ago

im doing an x16xe conversion at the minute, first proper engine conversion ive done, its not that hard, once you have a bit of a background in cars and ya have the right tools you will be ok

Piece of pi** conversion. Std ohc nova mounts/shafts.
Main probs are sorting the alternator setup, and fitting the downpipe to the nova system.
X16 needs immobiliser wiring up too, make sure the ecu/key/pickup are removed from the same car.
Late Corsa gsi's/1.6 sport and 1.6 Tigras all had x16's fitted.
