anybody else think they can beat these? there must be a few 1.2`s that can top 100mph mine used to when it was a 1.2 i managed 112 once (only once!)

what about the gte/gsi boys? can u beat the 1.4 sri`s

4th gear does 123mph, 5th only had 138mph so far, ran out of road.205 40 17 tyres.

138Mph in fifth @ 6750Rpm (Nova 1.6 16v With MBE managment) using Corsa Gsi GearBox. 185/55/15 tyres.

My old 1.3 on twin 40's seen 115 screaming in fifth!

rob check out my tech spec!
dosnt matter if i stick it in 5th coz the cam needs to be reved so when it goes into 5th and the revs drop it loses sum speed (does that make sense?)

Hey peeps just got back from ma work and i got 129mph at 6400 revs, the next time i looked at me dash it was flashin funny ways!!!!! aghhhhh so thats what they mean the blip at the end of digi dash....doh, at least i managed 2 get a good speed before ma dash went funny ps in 5th gear wi 195/50/15's on

rob it wont go any faster in 5th coz the revs drop out side the cams range. and i do 120 everymorning up the a19 on the way to work, i did manage 122 once but only once so it dosnt count there was a t5 parked on the other side watching me as well! (2 weeks ago still got my fingers crossed)

i have been stopped twice at 120 and got off with it both times so if i get away with it this time im sticking to 50!

i've got 127 out of my 14_sr on a private strip of land(M4) in 5th gear 5900 rpm with 185 60 14's

Believe it or not but 111mph out of my 1.0L on the motorway. Didn't have a tschometer thank god.

and 97 in a j reg 1.2
