The paint should be your favourite colour.
The wheels should be your favourite wheels.
The interior should be your favourite interior.
The bumpers should be your favourite bumpers.

at the minute its a shell basically and its a white c reg mk1 1.3 sr
not getting a lot of help here might just keep it white, was thinkin maybe jamaica or pineapple yellow with dark rims or a standard nova colour with banded sr steels

VW oak green might be a nice colour to paint it. With some 6.5" silver banded SR steels it would look very good dropped about 40-60mm. Keep the bumpers just to standard SR fare, they look alright and the paintwork will be the thing which helps it to stand out, rather than a load of crappy plastic stick on addenda. The 'burberry' SR interior would also look good against dark green.

id be tempted to keep it white c/w with vynal, maybe another styandard SR colour if you must change it

Dark green would be a good choice, thats a colour you rarely see Novas in.

my original ideas were either keep it white an colour code the wheels or pineapple or jamaica yellow an black rims, but im drawn to dark green for the exact reason that you dont often see novas that colour

The green MK1 SR on the Haynes manual looks cool ;) if I were you, I'd get some inspiration from that one :D

I reckon you ort to paint it ford racing orange with some highlights type thing or black on the high points if you get me with some nice dark smoked wheels (not pitch black ) thats what i'd do to my nova if i could afford it :) :thumb: :)
