Im buying a xe nova,When i put the reg in the insurance web site it did'nt bring owt up?
Do some insurance companies not insure engine transplant cars?
Its not uncommon for an insurance database to not have full details of a car.
Check www.vehiclelicense.gov.uk to see if its on there.
Insurance databases usually always bring up the cars original engine cc.
Mine still comes up as 1196 on the insurance database, but 1598 on dvla etc.

If you dont have it registered as a 2.0 for MOT would it still pass?
I think it would be fine as they dont need to see the log book or insurance certificate.
My 1.6 was fine and that was still down as a 1200
