.......i say do it, BUT don't do body colour, maybe a grey sr one would be better?

if u mean the rubberish wrap spoiler do it - theyre well smart (IMO) especially if u can get hold of the vynal for the bit below the window to match the ends up (usually says 1.3SR)

Keep if the original colour - mainly coz its got tons of flex and unless u use special paint addative it will crack.. I had a mk1 GTE wrap on me mk2 1.2 merit for 3 yrs (held on by epoxy resin coz the bolts had been cut off) - looked well smart.

If u aint got one, you more than welcome to have my old one - just pay cost of P&P - theres no bolts mind but like I said - I used expoy reson all way round and it held on for 3 yrs and I've covered some 50k in that time :o
Benefit of having no bolts also means you aint got to fanny arse with drilling fapping big holes in yer hatch compromising its struture and encouraging rust!

hi

I personally think you shouldnt fit a gte spoiler. If you do fit one get a gsi one.

Its looks nice enough without one though. I reckon the gte one will ruin it.

there is a guy down here whp has a got a mk3 orion (mk5 escort) spoiler attachet to the roof of his nova and it sticks out about 6 inches both sides of his car lmao

if your going to do it go with the gsi suggestion  [/quote]

poxy resin, i think is the stuff that turns things to concrete this is serious stuff and will hold anything, not sure where to get it from as my old man always gets stuff like that from work

but will definately do the trick

Visit your local B&Q Warehouse, purchase a stylish picnic table, modify it to fit around the back of your bootlid and slap it on!!! Don't worry if it sticks out a mile, or the neighbours come around to eat lunch on the back of your car, It will look the business....... (Hmmmm??!!)

Seriously now - A GSi / MkII SR spoiler will look the best, if you can't get one, leave it without as this also looks good.

I'd say no spoiler........I never fitted one on my first Nova and it looked smart.....peeps kept tellin' me it needed one, but I thought otherwise.
I had a GTE lower "flick" and anthracite between the back lights (GTE style), so it looked smart anyway.....a spoiler may have spoilt it!

if you want a GSi one let me know as i know a guy who manufactures fiberglass ones and is reasonable cost and excellent quality.
