I Paied ?450 inc Delivery. They Feel like a good solid set. There Height and Damper adjustable. and Hopefully they should go on without problems. ive never fitted coilies before, but ive got a mate who decked many Mk1 golf's. So ill have a crack at it 2mo! Ill let you know what i think.
Cheers Josh:thumb:

Look good?
I'd pass judgement after encountering a UK road surface with them tbh.

my mate has just bought these and is disapointed with not having the back low enough. cos the rears are just 60mm arent they?

Same with many coilover sets tbh that just keep a std seperate shock & spring arrangement.
Send the springs away to wound down tighter.
^ If they're RSX, yep fixed 60mm on rear.

My hatch was dubbed "Boneshaker" after putting spax RSX on lol
ive never fitted coilies before
Adjustable coilovers... standard nova front suspension IS coilovers lol
they should get the car a tad closer to the deck.

i've got them on the corsa, and are very comfy imo..
not that hard, unless you stick the stiffness right up :thumb:
Nice one.
Ive heard Spax are hard as fook even on the soft setting lol.
?450 is quite a price tho(almost Avo/Gaz price), a guy was doing new sets on CorsaSport a while back for about ?230....

mine dont feel much hard than standard on the softest setting
In regards to an earlier post, how much does it cost to have springs wound down approx? And how much can you do them by?
coilsprings.co.uk should be able to re-wind springs to your requirements.

I run my RSX's on 23/28 hard and they're fine :D :thumb:

I would only set them to half as stiff as they'll go (or less), then you can always wind them up stiffer once they begin to get a bit more tired and get a second lfe out of them :thumb:
Cheers Razor.
Worth a look!

They are indeed RSX's. Although im not after to deck my car, just simply tucked into the arch a tad.
Atm the ride quality in my mk1 is Sh!t to be honest (although handles well for just a stripped out 1.2). so even if these are a tad better on the comfy side i cant complain. interesting to see if it increase's handling any more. cant wait, gonna fit them 2mo
Cheers
Josh
Looks like a good buy, as said though might be worth messing about with the stiffness to suit.
A mate of mine has them on his XE and they must be on the hardest setting as they're too much for a road car! lol
ive got a set of these on the saloon and have had them for a few years now. im still really happy with them and as for the ride i have no complaints. i was doing 100 ish on a private road the other day and suddenly thought to myself just how planted and safe the car felt
