Hi everyone, just a quick post concerning the 1.0l engine. Got the car last wednesday and finaly sorted out the insurance on friday. So as you can imagine, the weekend was made up of me going out driving trying to get used to the old school beast lol. So my girlfriend decided that it would be a good idea to go for a trip down the A406 to Ikea in Edmonton.. Everything was fine and dandy untill an hour later and we got back into the motor. There was no life in her. I turned the key and the engine wouldnt start, it would whirl over, but it just had no oomph. So got the phone out and called my dad, and he advised me to try and start it with the clutch down. It worked, thank god. But its a bit irratating. It done it again last night, in Mcdonalds Car park.
So does anyone have ANY idea what this is all about? or have i just got unlucky and bought a bit of a pooper lol. This may even be something obvious, but im new to the whole motor care thing as this is my first car.
