Hi am just after lowering my Nova 60mm and it looks good, handles amazingly BUT there is some dirty ratling noice which i suspect is the exhaust above the rear axle. What can i do and has anyone else experienced the same problem? Its a 1.4 and has a standard exhaust Cheers guys
I think you are right. Only solution is to get underneath and see whats what or take it to zorst place. Check particularly where the zorst hangs from. It is possible to have the hangers rattling on the body

Its either the exhaust against the spring or against the rear axle. Check to see if the exhaust has come off the centre rubber mount as it could be hanging on the rear axle. if u still cant find the fault get a m8 2 rev the engine slightly till it rattles and locate where its comin from. let me know how u get on.

a m8 had this probley, except it had some fancy back box.
so i may be wrong about how the zorst hangs,
on his it was a L welded onto the pipe and the L slotted into a rubber bracket thing which then hung from the chassis,
any how the way i solved the probley was to,bend the L so that changed the position of the back box,
its hard to explain, but if it is the zorst, jus bend brackets or the pipe.jus dont bend the pipe enough that it kinks other ways it f**ked.

as i said before rry at all cost not to bend the pipe,
its a right sod,
my expience experince was i heated and bent a custmers zorst,
and fcuked it,
200quid goes outa my pay
big ouch, bending brackets is easyer and you can undo the work if need to,
dont pay someone to do this,ya can do it,
way i did it with my mates motor is bend it,til u fink its enuf.
then pack the boot with lumps of concreate and jump up and down in the boot.and ur hear if its gonna rub,
ya can fix this in about 15 mins by bending brackets.

:D I took it to a zorst place and they put a sharp bend piece of pipe which now quite easily clears the back axle so i can now have as many ppl in the car as i want and no noise. Thanks for the help lads! 8)
