I want a Vogue V8 or Hilux :D but if i could lay my hands on a salvage damaged X5 id have it and trash it off road lol

will you cry if you scratch it or dent it tho lol
Bit of a difficult subject this for me. Whilst I think its good for people to have access and I'm fine with responsible use of green lanes from those who understand how the countryside works, I'm not at all happy about the increasing numbers of folks who, quite frankly, turn up, make a ****ing ****e mess and ruin the tracks before ****ing off and leaving those of us who live and work out here to pick up the pieces of ruined rights of way.
I would say if you want to go green laneing do it when its reasonably dry ie not during the winter months. If it looks like its rutting up pack it in & come back when its dried out.
If you want to go and get stuck up to your axles in ****e and sludder, find a purpose built 4X4 quarry or course where it doesn't matter if you make a mess.
Is that a yes or a no CP?

Advice For Ricky G, don't buy a P38 you have been warned, a classic can cost you a fortune, a P38 can bankrupt you:mad:

'92 2.4 LWB Frontera.
Having 3 nephews who motocross means that I needed something that was capable of pulling itself out of some of the fields that are used as pits/paddocks.
Unmolested at mo but have got a spare set of MTs on steels for the bad days ;)
Looking at getting a Sport for offroading (money permitting).
Is that a yes or a no CP?
Well I don't go 4x4ing for a past time but I have 2 unimogs - a U1200 and a U1300 and an old series 2 Landy for shooting rabbits and feeding pheasants with. Does that count?lol
I once was asked to pull out a cavalier that had been joyridden into the middle of a field so I used this.
http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb125/cpnova/DSC00146.jpg
It was the only thing that could get near it after heavy overnight rain. I also had to pull out a Disco and Fronterra that had gone into fetch it out. I tied the lot together and pulled them out in 1 go. Despite weighing 19 tonnes all up the ground pressure is low and she stays on top rather than bogging down to the axles. It was over kill but anything else wouldn't have workedlol
i aint got 1 but mum still has her pajero that i use from time to time if i have to tow something thats to big for my car.
She use's it to tow her caravan or horse box the 2 worse things on the road inho.
