i need to clean my carb will i need to remove it to do so? and also would engine de-greaser be ok for the job on a lint free cloth and wiping it as im a car valeter and have loads of the stuff at my garage any help appreciated cheers Ian:thumb:

buy a proper can of carb and choke cleaner from your local motor factors, or halfrauds if your desparate. instructions are on the can, as its not the outside you need to clean, its the inside

remove it, strip it, clean all the jets one by one so you dont get them mixed up/lost, blow the chambers out with compressed air. then make it better.
clean the throat up with carb cleaner or petrol and a scotch pad and a soft comfortable rag.
