Right heres the question......
Mint J plate 1.2 in white
Standard interior (grey dash, ghey seats ;))
Cars going to stay as a 1.2 for a while yet
Will eventually have some better front seats
Outside is gunna be GSi ish
Cars going to be used as a daily hack
Do I strip the interior out and how far do I go?
Do I.....A) Remove rear seats, rear trim, parcel shelf supports etc
or
B) remove everything in the rear, + carpets, door cards, headlining and anything unneccesary from the dash
or
C) Leave it as it is due to the fact its mint and eventually fit black dash and GSi interior?
You lot decide, on your head be it!

Please don't!
Oh, you mean the nova lol...
Yes if it's a 1.2 and you aint bothered about passengers.
I would remove everything from the Pillar to the rear.

I'd just leave it & not bother with the GSi dash & interior either tbh.
The black interior is very drab & dull. I much prefer the grey interior of a GTE (although the mk1 dash is horrific). I've only got the GSi dash because my car is a gSi.
As for stripping it out, unless you plan to race everywhere or do track days & sprints I wouldnt bother. Theres not much weight to some carpets & shelf supports & rear seats etc come out in minutes if you do a track day or drag run.

I agree with Craig, depends what you want to do with it?? For road use i'd say keep the interior in, it'll reduce road noise, and makes it "slightly" inviting for little thieves :)

Too many Novas are beginning to look like stripped out sheds too.

like mine lol
my gte was a dream with the interior! and thats was thanks to road rally regs requiring interior of that would have gone. its sadly missed!
Id leave it tbh.
Im putting some of the interior back in mine, as it looks better fully trimmed, than with a bare floor IMO
As a few folk have said above. I would personally leave all the interior in until you have the GSi interior to replace it. Plus with it been a everyday car the road noise etc will no doubt start to annoy you.
yep, for an everyday car, leave the interior in.

Track cars can run a full interior too. I know its not ideal but Mark Beeson did a 9min lap at nurburgring with leather & stereo etc.
I've just cleaned and fitted the rest of my GSi interior today...

I'd wait and fit one aswell if I were you. Don't see the point in stripping out your car unless your running some decent power and intend to use it as a track car.

Ok fair dues, it'll stay in for now then, what you lot think to a MK1 GTE interior with MK2 grey dash? Bear in mind mines got the grey door cappings and electric windows.....
