Got board as hell at work and deciced to treat myself.
snapped up these minters off ebay for ?300 with brand new tyres.

then thought decided on a set of coilie's. I choose these spax one's.

?442 with delivery. Not bad. Height and Damper adjustable, 2 year warranty. The mk1 should look soooo nice decked on a set of Cav slabs.:thumb:

Masive waste of money really, when you can pick up a set for ?100 and get them refurbed and new tyres for less than ?300! :roll:

Those coilovers look like teh new ones (not yellow!) interesting to see how they are!

The Spax coilovers look nice, was thinking of getting a set of these for my GTE. Can you let us know how you get on with them please? Slabs look clean too, tyres could be a problem tho size wise.

I saw those wheels and they were very tempting well done in the spend when i was building my 2.0 i spend ?2000 in about the same time on the phone to LMF! Nothing like a bit of impulse retail therapy! lol

?50 and some paint and they'd be good as new anyway, hardly a hard wheel to refurb.

lol wat can i say, im lazy and would rather pay a bit more and get the mint. Yes i was planning to run them tyres. did have my doubts. you recon it will scrub? :confused:
