at the mo got coilovers in the post also got antiroll bars to fit i cant get near it cos of this crap weather cheers for looking :)

Theyre OZ Saturns.......Polaris are 5spokes, much like some of the Mille Miglia wheels!

Cool project though, what size are those pipes? They somehow suit it had they been a little shorter ;)

got it running and gave it a compression test all up at 175psi alot better than before i will get more pics on soon its starting to look more like a car

I had a bit of rot so i cut it out and welded a plate into the inner wing.i have only just started to learn how to weld so took some pics enjoy or not lol.

got alot done today cut out the spare wheel well started to make the exhaust/bled the brakes/filled the f16 with fluid and set the gears up

had a wee road test last night. i took it out my work where its going to be sprayed and finnished. had a blip round the estate and it is quite fast i nearly lost my fibreglass bonnet lol. pics to follow of the paint job

took the rear beam of today and fitted poly bushes. also took my tank of thought i had a leak but seems to be the sender unit leaking. whilst all that lot is off im going to red lead the floor and spay it either white or back.

starting on the front wings they had really crap paint on them so i rubbed them back to bare metal.

took the engine out today and stripped the bay ready for prep work. lots of wire wheel action and sand blasting.

i cant believe we got so much done in 5hrs. the 2.1xe engine will be fitted some time this week.

got the engine wired up today but somehow the cts was missing and the icv and knock sensor loom was missing to thankfully i have spares, the 3 vacpipes on the inlet are also cut/missing also heve them spare too. its not looking good for this engine.
anyhoo decided on a colour.

1.missing icv and knock sensor loom
2.no cold start plug or loom
3.he gave me the wrong coil
4.rocker cover and sump gaskets[pissing out oil]
5.idle control screw missing from throttle body
