How gutted am i,
Car went in for its mot.

it passed with flying colours.
hahahaha

and who said the rusty nova's were dead.
still no welding on the car, just a few surface spots coming through.
so fingers crossed, will be getting a rexy special at some point.

I'm more nervous on MOT day than I would be at my own wedding I reckon.

mine went rhough MOT about a month or so ago, guy at the testing station has known me for years and does all our cars he saw me coming and before i pulled into the garage he had his poky stick ready.he said,"i should have some fun with this" as i got out :(

needless to say he couldnt find a spot of rust and i spoilt his day :thumb: only thing he could find was there was a very slight leak where backbox connects,20p's worth of exhaust sealer later and we were away :cool:
he reckons hes not MOT'd one as clean for nearly 10 years lol

How about this then, my Nova passed it's mot last week, I was getting ready to stone chip the underside and pulled a piece of loose underseal off of the sill and found a little bit of rust, no problem I thought, "give it a clean up and It'll be ok",5 hours later and 3 substantial plates including cutting off some of the seat mounting crossmember, its done.

andreas had it, didn't do anything with it, so i snapped it up, got some big plans for that car, well when i finish my sri lol

the shell was solid when i had it. got to be atleast 2 years now its been gone.

how bad is it now. had new doors, wings and bonnet done for that car.

drivers side rear arch needs some attention, both doors are getting a bit rough now the boot floor in both corners could do with welding. the front end wings bonnet bumper are still in great condition, the passenger side rear quarter is immaculate, the paints faded on the roof but other than that its ok.

Am off all this week so i'll try and get some pictures mate, as said i will start work on it once the sri's finished can't wait tbh.

andreas musn't have given you the new doors then.
i had 2 new delocked doors freshly painted with the car when i sold it to him.
the drivers side rear quarter and the roof were the only bits not repainted when it was sold.
