ive noticed that my old drum hand brake cables are too long for my disc converion.
is this normal? what can i do about it? :wtf: :confused:
Yes, you need a different handbrake cable setup.

what set up do i use? is it all the way from the leaver to the axle?
Keep the longest cable, then you've gotta use the shorter cable from a MK2 Cavalier ... theres a couple of different lengths, think its the shorter of the 2 (not 100% tho).

FKB 1000. From fistline cables. Available from most good auto factors.

sorted mr green, what year would the mk2 cav be? im confused with cavs, is the latest one, say 'K' plate, a mk2 or mk3?
that would be a mk3 , you want the older sqaurer (is that even a word) shape
