View Full Version : My GSi - Photos
Well I had a friend from work staying with me for a while, who's really into his photography. A couple of weeks ago we went and did a photoshoot on the car!
Anyway today he came back to me with the photos, I'm well pleased! They look awesome!
Some people might recognise the car, its got a TB'ed Corsa Gsi lump in it. When i bought it, it needed a bit of work, in fact it still does, but its getting there slowly!lol!
Here's the pics:

Just asked him:
"well, it was the long exposure and there were hardly any lamps around so it was the light-pollution and the white balance. But I reckon if we took the photo closer to london wouldn't look the same (much bigger light-pollution). I didn't use filters."
nice car lad, good pics too! is your rear vinyl painted on?
Rob Lee's old car?
Very nice pics, mag feature quality pics!
Good pics, better than the ****e you get in the mags,
Great effects but pretty easy to do with a still subject.

Bit above me, but looks cracking all the same. :thumb:
Basically our eyes see most light as white as our eyes convert it, on a camera you have a white balance as different types of light show as different colours, eg fluorescent light is blue, halogen light is green iirc and street lights etc give orange glow (think there argon filled) but you can set the camera white balance with a white sheet of paper to read the surrounding colors as white by clicking the WB button on a camera/videocamera.
but you can play tricks with experience to get the WB to over compensate the light colours.
Something like that, hard to explain easy to do and a long time since ive had to write the theory of it.
 looks really really good!!yeah think it is rob lee's old car.
