Our mate Jaywalker (user on here) his XE keeps pishing out oil once its warmed up.

We've had the sump off, cleaned it out and checked it for cracks, its sound. We changed the sump gasket. We've removed the oil cooler, checked the hoses and oil filter housing/mounting they appear to be sound.

When it gets warm it fecking leaks oil out a good 'un from the drivers side front/side of the engine?

So, im thinking its either the crank seal and oil pump are at fault or the block itself is cracked?

Anyone got any ideas as to what else i could check?

The reason i ask is ive got 4 cars on the go and only a few hours on a weekend to work on either of them so time is muchos limited!

Mike.

Oil pump to block mating surface may be leaking from theyre and running down!!

If its anything like my old one.... crank seal for sure.

Used to burn off the manifold when you boot it & it stinks.
