whats peoples opinions?

i have a flame red 1.2i that i was going to reshell my gte into for track days... i have since purchased a 2litre 8v and 16v nova's so it is no longer needed.

i stonechipped from the bump strip down in light grey but it now just looks like primer so i'm going black... sprayed the rear bumper and grab handle, just started the front bumper.

whats peoples opinions? does anyone have a car with black from the bump strips down? similar to the sri's.

going to sell the car after. give it a polish, not a bad shell really, needs a head gasket for mot.

cheers

yeh i did...

but its not halfrauds paint... lol as origianally i was spraying the side to protect them i used stone ship paint. so the bumpers were roughed up sprayed grey to match, but as said, it looked like primer so they were then sprayed with black stone chip paint. the finish is really good! almost plastic like. :)

Personally I'd find a dark grey for the lower flanks.

UPOL do a GM plastic grey paint. Look it up on ebay.

cheers, i will do! just given the front bumper nice coat of black. looking good. going to buff the mother back next weekend and either spray the front drivers wing or look for a red mk2 wing.

dont know whether to do the head gasket or just sell as it is. need it gone really!

Head will only take an afternoon. HG set should be cheap enough. hell if you are flogging it on, dont worry about the bolts. gasket, coolant & oil. Thankyou.

what you mean?

i did originally try to take the head off to assess the damage, but couldn't get the bottom pulley bolt off :( so i gave up.
