Anti Roll Bar Problem

I have a 2.0ltr 8v engine in my nova, the problem is that the antiroll bar is hitting the lip on the sump, i have taken the roll bar off at the minute as its probaly going to burst the sump is there any way of moving the bar or an alternative to the gte bar.

ermmm if i remeber right the GTE one is 22mm and the SR one is 18mm so there is 4mm that could give you some extra clearence.

I think you will be able to move it a bit without the effectiveness being altered, not sure though.

surly you can bend or mod the aint roll bar just enuf so it wont rub

use a gte or gsi 1. i think they r the same and should give u just enough clearence.

Thanks for the replys, the prob is not so much the bar but the bracket itself thats hitting the sump, is there a kit or anything for lowering the bar down a 10mm or so.
