They cant just cancel your overdraft with out notice.

You need to ring them up and tell them to fcuk off

Agree with Stuart. Unfortunately, in the smallprint somewhere in your T and C's that no one bothers to read, the words 'We reserve the right to remove your overdraft at any time giving minimum of 1 months notice' are probably hiding.

Suggest you go to Lloyds, they've never been a problem to me. Tell them HSBC have badly let you down, and provided your credit rating is reasonable, they shouldnt have a problem giving you a similar package.

lol Natwest keep increasing my overdaft. I was thinking my top was ?1k, only to then dig up a letter from 18 months previous telling me my limit was actually 1650. Wondered why they'd never charged me for going "over" my limit lol

I got 7 calendar days notice to repay my overdraft as HSBC seem to reckon that I actually agreed to it removed!?!! I went fook ballistic at them infront of a waiting que in my local branch lol

I used to bank with Barclays, but after working for them and witnessing some failry illegal was of working, and also having several major issues whilst banking with them i decided to move

i've just moved from barclays to first direct - their overdraft is a 12 month contract they re-evaluate every 12 months. They make sure you know about it too!

I try where I can to avoid overdrafts - been there and felt the pain!

Stay in credit.
