Indicator problem

My brother has got a mkII astra gte and he took the orange side repeaters out and some how blew a fuse, we relaced the fuse and now all the other indicators work but not the side repeaters, the fuse is alright, any ideas would be greatly appreciated :D

I'm not sure if the sides rul in parralell with the fronts or if they have their own flash relay thing (?). Could check that. Did he cut the wiring? May have shorted it out or one of the wires is bare and touching the body - causing it to earth.

right sound like + and - have some how ended up together a broke the fuse,and whilst doing that blow both blubs.
check the wiring and blubs.
