Hey everybody. I'm a 17 year old driver, just passed.
I bought today a G-reg 1.1 Nova and what I want is ideas!
Anything you wanna give me would be great, any ideas what so ever!
Bar in mind that I'm a student, but every single available penny is going on this car to make it hopefully one of the best in essex.
Any info or ideas you can give me will be great.
Cheers people!

Welcome to the site...

Just a question:
As far as I know there isnt such thing as a 1.1 engined Nova!?

So Im guessing its either 1.0 or 1.2!

Kev.

Welcome aboard m8 - best advice I can give is start small - as you've just past yer test, I'd wait a few months before doing anything - simply coz if you mod it could hike up yer insurance. Take a look around at some of thr past posts to get ideas - several peeps have also asked for ideas and been given lengthy ones (saves us repeatng stuff coz were lazy! )

Kev, you're eaither -

a. just finished boxing
2. practicing to be a monk
3. actually Micky in one of his discuises!

nah he looks more like that old man off gladiator, the farther of maximus maridimus big cockamus eat-a-muff

Yeah i agree, start small, do little things and save up a bit of money and then get alot done at once, like send it to a body shop(or do it urself depending how much u know) and make it look different.
You say it's a 1.1? Has the person who had it before you stuck them on, and were they dislexic?(no affenice to annywon whoe miaght be disclexis)hehe

If u want some ideas of what to do read Ade's posts, it'll take u 2 weeks to read them all but worth it.

Hope u do good things with your nova, love it till death does u part.

Personally i think Kev looks like he just got out the shower and fancied lookin on the net for some relief...but no more of that!

I will attempt to read the mountain of posts on novas...heaven!
And I was told it was a 1.1 and i havnt checked the engine yet, i only bought it last nite! so its probably a 1.0 but have no fear by the time im finished with it it'll be a huge black lowered 2.0 beast that'll be on the covers of fastcar maxpower AND redline!
I can but dream.

now then mate this might be a good mod for you to do "a GSi facelift " which would cost about ?479 from on-line tuning, www.tuning.co.uk for this you would get the new shape front end and rear, it consists of, GSi front and rear bumbers, Gsi grill, headlights, indicators, GSi sideskirts, and GSi rear spoiler !!! maybe a new interior from a GSi or a mk2 SR or SRi about ?100 or more/less, digital dash about ?70 and a new shape dash about ?80 visit www.novarally.co.uk or www.vpsc.co.uk for loads of nova bits, hope this helps

Cheers for the advice guys. im only payin 470 insurance though coz the car is under my mums as second. im just any named driver under 25. No claims dont bother me at the mo coz im a reckless 17 year old driver....lookin ahead and makin plans to save money is not a big issue.
Damn im selfish!
I still wann know if i can get the same quality spray if i do it myself?
