just recently my sri keeps deciding to stall wen i get to road ends lol wot would be causing this to happen if there is a reason lol
try using all the letters available on the keyboard ;)
is it a pig to start? ie do you need to give it some throttle to start and hold the revs.
you could either have a blocked/mullered ICV or the brake servo has a huge air leak (thats stalling when you brake)

no its not a pig to start its ok and where is this icv as im new to the nova engines! also in terms of an air leak which pipes do i check?

an air leak is likely to cause a reduced vacuum and then cause it to rev higher at idle.
the idle control valve is at the back of the plenum. and bypasses the T/B

ok will check it cheers
If its a later one (K plate) it will have a speed sensor that sends a signal to teh ECU... if this is fecked/wire cut the ECU doesnt know what happening and it will cut out at junction etc...
Common problem on Corsas with electric dashes
All Sri's have a speed sensor, so thats a good call. Worth checking

perhaps you are not operating the clutch properly as you come to a halt?
try converting it to an auto-box

Are you sure? pretty certain that its only the DIS 1.4's that were graced with the problem...?
Aye, even the dizzy ones too.
Even Spi's have them :)

i had this exact problem after fitting digi dash to an sri, the ecu wasnt getting the speed signal form gearbox and kept dieing when slowing at junctions
