i didnt know if this should go in styling or technical. but. basically ive got a standard mk1 1.2 nova. exactly what bits would i need to make the exterior resemble a gse one? do i have to change the front quarter panels? cheers for any advice

this is what ya need Jon,
front bumper >> GSi
rear bumper >> "91 on, sr/gsi (both same)
side skirts >> gsi/gte (both same)
spoiler >> "91 on, sr/gsi (both same)
grill >> GSi
front wings and headlights/indicators >> "91 on style

thats the basics, after that ya need window surrounds from a sr/gsi and the obvious bits of GSi decal such as the black section on the boot lid!

if ya wanna go the whole hog like I'm doing, you'll also need the following -

green factory tinted windows
electric windows
colour coded wing mirrors
GSi interior (inc 3/4 split in the rear)
different steering wheel (I think)
central locking (mines off remote fob and delocked)
GSi alloys 3 spoke
satin black b pillars as well as the satin black rear lower part of tailgate (optional to have the lower side panels in satin black - they use vynal which is expensive)
Lower it on 40mm springs n shocks (ive gone 60mm)

or u could do gte (seen as though u got a mk1) (and better looking).

gte front bumper,
gte/sr grill,
gte/gsi side skirts,
gte rear bumper,
gte/sr rear spoiler.
gte/sr/gsi three spokes (think ades got some for sale if u interested) (i'm on commision lol)

cheers for that. so how much for the three spokes then ade? and wot condition they in? thing is i live in hertfordshire, that could mean a lot of money for mr postie if ur far away..........and im skint!
