Been "training" as it were for a year now on vinyl and just started working with CDJs. Got my first gig opportunity coming up in May so getting quite excited! Will more than likely be more bouncy/dirty live tho.

Click the link. In the main middle box in the top right hand corner it will ask you to enter the code displayed. do this and hit enter. the main box then changes. there will then be a counter in the bottom right of the main box. once this has finished counting down it will change to a button that says "free download" - click it! Easy as that! lol

Had my first gig confirmed for 26th April. Gonna be battling out in War of the DJs. Winner gets a prime slot at a big event.

Seeing none of you guys are local or will be there I was gonna upload the half hour mix I'll probably use and get some feedback!

DJ'ing was something a mate of mine used to do, he made some good money from it too.

You only get around ?50-?100 a night from what I gather these days unless your a big name. Would barely cover your records in a month if using vinyl! lol

Dont think he was using vinyl iirc.
Quite a few years back, using just cd's/mini discs I think.

You can earn more doing like parties & disco type DJing but if you wanna do clubs the margins are much tighter.

Yup, thats what he did mainly.
Once he had paid out the initial cost for the equipment/music.
His only costs were diesel money to get to and from the venue.

I did a kids disco for a 7th bday or something and after being nagged to play spice girls and crap like that I thought sod this I'd rather play to a bunch of fun lovin coke & pill heads who are really lovin my choons! lol
