Agree, has to be kept as it is.

Out of interest, what is the current book price for an A1 condition GSI??

Book Price: ?500
Usual Selling Price: ?5000

TBH I could think of lots of other cars I'd rather spend ?3k on... yes I know its probably spotless, but meh. The only way to keep it that clean would be dry store it, only use it a handful of days in the year, and putting out lots of effort to clean it after each time you use it. Of course there are cars out there that I would be prepared to put out that effort on, but unfortunately a Nova isn't one of them (admittedly they'd all cost a lot more than ?3k though lol)

I'd be tempted at around ?2500 tbh

No offence bud, but if your really in the market for an immaculate concourse Nova then you should be more than tempted even at 3k.

However I understand everyone has their budget.

Im only down the road from that in swindon.
I will have to go take a look and see what i can find wrong with it.

lol. i'd say that is worth every penny, bearing in mind rough GSI's make 1500-2000 these days. But it has to be kept original like that!

Looks clean and tidy, but 3k is a lot of money imo..

Surprised that they have priced it that strong actually... Usually the traders just get the book price and add a percentage on it... Obv must have some insider knowledge! lol

Worth ?3k if its as clean as it should be.

I think 3k is a bit steep considering the mileage. The one with 5k was up for the same asking price.

As with all things though, its worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. If it is too much (or there isnt a buyer) it wont sell, at that price.

^^^ What I thought Craig, hence my valuation of closer to ?2500...

All we can see is 3 pictures, and 50k, and 1 owner, doesnt mean it wasn't kept out side knee deep in grass and rotten as a peach underneath.

has anyone had a chance to view it yet?

Cormac

Id pay 3K for that if its as good as it says!

Adam
28-02-08, 04:25 PM
For that price, the mileage seems a bit high to me too.
5k miles yeah.
But 52k?

There classic lines if your selling a car.
Its the law, you have to say that lol

Surely if it doesnt sell he will have to keep it? If any car doesnt sell you have to keep it

s14a
28-02-08, 07:05 PM
i was sayin so whats the bottom line etc, not even 2900 will buy it 3000stg or hes keepin it...

im sure the phone hasnt stopd ringin, im sure lads are ringin just to ask a few questions out of interest, not to many will pay 3k for a bloody nova

ian.sutton
28-02-08, 08:03 PM
be interesting to see how long he's advertising it for.

Maybe we should all ring him up and offer ?1000, that'll p*** him off lol

SRimon
28-02-08, 09:28 PM
I still don't think its worth the ?3000, and the guy seems a bit of an idiot, no one puts a car up for sale without nudging on the price at all.

s14a
29-02-08, 12:11 AM
its a lovely car but his atitude pissed me off, im sure he has had loads of muppets ringin so i suppose i can see his point....
