Stay with it mate, i had the same probs and got it sorted in the end.

Does it crank?
Do you have a spark?
As craig states, wire a constant or lgnition live to fuel pump.
then check for pressure in the fuel line to rail.

i can always check the wiring on mine to help:thumb:

If it has spark, that means the crank sensor must be OK...??

Therefore, possibly the pump wiring or pump relay. (smack the relay with a hammer - jolt it into life)

Aye, probably the relay

Check under the bonnet somewhere around the below the dizzy, you should find a black\white (not sure of colour) wire, i think this needs an ignition live. I had the same problem as you, checked everything else and couldn't work it out. i eventually found this wire just before taking it to an auto electrician. you will also need the tank vent valve plugged in as triggers when the its cranked.

I can check properly tomorrow during the daylight.:thumb:

short out the relay contacts and make sure the pump is triggered. this will confirm the wiring. if it works but does not work with the relay (and assuming the new relay you fitted is correct and nice) its the signal to the relay
