Harsh ride?

Got a mk1 1.2 merit, evrything standard except i put 14" gsi 3-spokes on it. they're wearing 185/60 tyres (so not too low-profile) & pressures are fine.

The ride is pretty harsh over poor road surfaces. not so bad at motorways, but uneven urban roads can be really rough & sometimes makes the cd player skip :?

has anyone had similar symptoms that can be fixed in the suspension department, ie. is it the shocks, ball-joints or rubber bushes? had some cav gsi 15s on it for a while which i'm sure could've worn something- question is what??? :roll:

I don't know if thers a problem, but i got 14" SR alloys (14 x 5J) and there only wearing 165/65!

dont make any difference, u ususally put 165/65 or 185/60's on them
