ive been to a local on today for a few bits, went for my nova but as usual came away with anything but what i wanted. anyhow i got a corsa GSi bumper with grill but 1 fog light lense cracked for 35quid, a set of standard rear ligfhts for 15quid and they gave me some cav clocks and a corsa air box with pipework http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/images/smile/thumbs.gif

Good finds there, my local scrap yards rarely have anything descent, let alone sporty Vauxhalls.

was one on a corsa in a scraper near me when i had my gsi corsa , bought it for ?30 sold it the same day for ?80 lol

Ive never had a good find at looms, all i got was gypo's nicking things off my car while I was inside lol

there was only one guy at jnc aswell, i walked in to find all the cars inside and 1 guy on the phone, stood around for 5mins and had a walk round the garage to see if i could see any bits i needed but he never came out or even acknoledged me so i left

Looms is the shiznit, any new Novas down there?

Naff all when I when down there last weekend.
There are a couple of half stripped Novas down there, one was a chavved up 1.2 and the other a GTE looker that looks as it it had a C20XE in it.
It used to be brilliant for all things Nova but now its rare to see one down there, I remember going down there about 10 years ago when I had my SR and all there was were Y, A, B & C reg's in there with dodgy red, geen & brown interiors! People would kill for stuff like that now, oh well.

no srap yards round here have any novas in and simos at york where you can sometimes get some from is closing on 31 march gutted.

Its always worth dropping in there. The time I went in before, they'd just got in a fairly solid mk2 3-dr which looked like it had been pulled from a ditch. Filthy dirty but straight arches & body.

The chaps in there do say that anything Nova is usually stripped & bought pretty quickly.
