Ignition Barrel wires

Are the Four wires to the ignition barrel as follows:

2 live's
2 earth's

[Clean 2.0 nova]

No, for a start there are no 'live' wires on a Nova. You will find these in your house wiring. Positive and negative / chassis ground is the correct terminology.

Anyway to your question:
1. Permanent positive supply (red - 4mm dia.)
2. On position 15(Black - 2.5mm dia.)
3. On position 15A(Black - dia. ?), power goes off when cranking
4. Engine cranking (Black / red stripe 2.5mm dia.)
