Hi guys,

I used to be a member of the PNG way back in 2000 and joint ran the Region 4 (Kent and Surrey) with Dec Burke.

I'm back again, as the little Vauxhall is still running through my veins. lol

I'm currently looking for a clean example, dunno what I'm gonna do with it just yet though

Once Ive got my posts up, ill stick up some pictures of my previous Novas. (some of the older members may remember them) lol

Nice to be back. :thumb:

Hope this jogs your memory :D

This is Ian's first Nova, one of the first 2.0l 16v's I had ever seen, and one of a few prepared by ASW.

Unfortuantely it met a sticky end involving a 230BHP Escort RS Turbo and a rather tight bend in Epsom Downs

This was Ian's second Nova, reshelled using parts from the first one, IIRC it was Mitsubishi baby blue. Here he is racing my old Nova, we had about 3 races and he pipped me every time :( 14.2 to my 14.6 if I remember.

Here's a few faces to names, this was taken at the PNG Belguim Treffen around 2002

I've got a crap memory, but I'm the one just left of the middle in the green puffer jacket, Mark Addiscott is the big lump in the middle and Ian is the geezer in the baseball hat just to the right of him, Paul Foley is the pissed up bloke laying on the floor... Anyone know the others... maybe you're in it :thumb:

Nice one for posting the pics Dec. :thumb:

Brings back some memories!!

I havn't got those pictures of my white Nova, maybe you can Email over what you have or when you get a chance to scan them in. ;)

Those races a santapod were soooo close, I remember us both looking at eachother at the finish line not knowing who won. Then racing down to the group to find out the times lol !!!!

The end of my white one was a story to be told, i'll save that for another post! he couldn't shake me though. I also thought I'd killed you and me in the process.

Bloody hell blast from the past, met you many a time Ian, I used to be in region 17. I can remember seeing some photo's of where you crashed the white one.

That photo of you holding the bonnet, was at Belguim, the year Dec had a little too much to drink and ended up lumping some random. I think.

The bonnet was 2001 I think? The year I didnt make it, went every other year, 2000 (in red GSI), 2002 (With Paul Bishop in met red luxe +), 2003 (C reg spider), and the last one in 2004 (F reg spider) all years were awesome weekends. Hopefully I will get over the the contenent this year to a treffen.

Wheres Foley these days? Locked up for streaking?

Yeah, the Beluim trip was one to remember. lol

If I remember correctly, Dec slipped on the wet grass and lent against the emergancy stop button. Then as one of the security guards helped him to his feet, he slipped again and they touched heads. :)

All just a big misunderstanding :D

As for the streaking  Funny as hell. Along with the fires we wasnt supposed to have, the noise we made that everyone complained about. . .

I'll stop now. aahhhhhh the good old days. :D

LOL... it was something along those lines (I was young and reckless back then, as well as being off my nut!!) lol Luckily our coming together was cushioned by his thick European Mustache :p

The Paul Foley streaks were legendary... on the first Belgium trip he ran around campsite in nothing but a Union Jack, and it was a yearly tradition during prize giving at Billing. Mind you we did egg him on a fair bit and plied him with an endless supply of Stella!! :tard:

They were good years, especially with Paul around.

What was even funnier the following year was when Mark Addiscott and Paul were sharing a tent, they were sharing a blow up bed and after too many drinks Mark wet himself in the middle of the night and didn't realise.
Come morning they soon realised they had both been sleeping in Marks wee and the bed was still swimming in it.

18+ is that way /\/\/\/\ lol

I remember reading about the streaking in PNG News.
