you'll need a pretty heavy duty one so it can push the door past the latch preventing it from latching too once opened. You'll also need some way of opening the door (usually people add buttons on the underside of the wing mirrors).

Fraid I cant help but there may be some MOT related issue (see another ost earlier in the week).

If you mount the switch on the door, you'll need to ensure it goes via your central locking for the alarm.

Havnt seen any guides for this mod although there is someone on here that has done it...dunno who though

Sorry

alright people im the person in this group who has no door handles. As cool as it looks i advice u not to do reason being ive blown two solenoids sice fitting the system. Id say if ur gonna do anything with handles, change the style go for something like audi a3, corsa or new astra something like that.

If u still want to do it after all that heres how to go about it firstly get on the blower to a guy called Kris brown... Of a company called POP BROWNS, he does all the american parts for cars- as u my no this mod is wicked on american trucks.. Ne way getting back to the point give him a ring and as for a solenoid kit Part no PBE0154, u can pay over the phone and this guy will post the kit out to u.. Email the order to him on orders@popbrowns.co.uk leave him ur contact details and what u want and he will get back to u, this guys great he knows alot of stuff drag car specialist. (Kit comes with buttons and wiring).

Althougth this kits good ive used it and it only lasted 4 months it gets hot and can blow, which will put u in trouble trying to get in... Another guy who can supply u with a kit is BK AUTO SPARES.. The guys names DEL his a professional alarm fitter.. And does this conversion all day long since having his motors fitted my system works fine and its been going for 1yr... He charges around ?50 for the kit but these motors are the doggs his prob ur best bet give him a call on 0208 503 4492, ask for a door motor kit..

Again the mods quite easy to do its all matter of removing the door car, fitting the motor on door panel and fitting to lock mechnism, u have to muck about with the wire adjustment , should take about 2 hrs........

Hope this is of help... By the way the system on the TVR is completey fifferent they used electronic, time delayed motors very expensive around 350 a door...

Ur best bet is BK autos ( Kit comes with wiring etc)
