help!!!!

i bought a nova 1.4 sri k reg and its developed a nasty missfire it was fine then jus happened suddenly! i have replaced the plugs, dizzy cap, and im buyin leads tommorow! i did spray damp start on the plugs then put the leads back on straight away! please help as im stuck! also does anyone know the firing order for the leads and dizzy cap? cheers!!!

firing order is 1 3 4 2

cheers mate wot about the dizzy cap? any paticular order on that?

simple way to do it "if you don't know"
change leads one at a time
take one off, put new one in its place :)

hard to say with out seeing it!!!!!!!!!
did you fit a new rotar arm with cap or did you clean
up contact on old one?
after that could be an injector?
could be a few things

i cleaned old one but i sprayed damp start on the plugs themselves then put the ht leads straight back on

Damp start has probably wet fouled the plugs, get new ones & gap them properly.

Sanding back rotor arms & dizzy caps doesnt really work tbh. It opens the gap.

I'm not sure if the dizzy SRi's run a map sensor, but they can be troublesome.

where will the map sensor be? also how do u do a compression test? i bought a new rotor and ht leads this morning but still no progress! im stuck now

this is my first nova could sumone post pics up an sri engine bay and the distributor and lead set-up especially as i know the firing order but im really stuck now!!!

this morning my mate checked inside the rocker cover and there are no valves sticking open and all plugs are sparking! any suggestions??

also how do u take the fuel rail off as i have a slight feeling i may have a faulty injector?
