Straightforward swap of parts :)

You will need:

Headlamps
Headlamp clips (the white clips under the headlight)
Indicators
Grille
Bumper
Front wings

Bear in mind some Mk2 headlamps come with load levelling motors, if you want to use these you'll need additional wiring and the level control switch; but its not an essential part.

aren't the wings different too?

Yep, thats why they're on the list as well.

Or just ahve a word with yourself & convince your mind that mk1 is the way forwards!

Personally, i'd keep the MK1. MK2's are more common.

don't you dare 'mark 2' it :wtf:

mk1's are sooo much better than mk2.

and the money you would spend on doing it you can spend on something decent instead, like lowering springs or some decent brakes :thumb:

That looks like its already been lowered.

I'd say leave that a Mk1 tbh and get yourself ahold of an early type SR front valance. Is the car brown?

Those brackets look like mounts for rally lamps btw.

I like the fact its brown :D

Badges on boot, gently heat them up with a hairdrier, and use a plastic scraper, cloth and little bit of meths to remove any glue residue.

needs a bit of attension..im goin to take off the door handles and spray them as they are a bit rough...also theres small stickers on every window of the car which need removing...also bits of trim need touching up.also, does anyone know where i can get an alloy fuel cap? cheers :thumb:http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/nova_carb/22022008472.jpg

i'm definately a 'brown' man (ooo errr!) lol

because its brown though, you have to keep things 'old school' for it to look good. a brown mk1 is cool. a brown mk2 is definately not cool!

simple things like an early tailgate (if it doesn't allready have one?), snow plough front bumper, a decent set of wheels and a good clean should be first on your list

im all for old school but im seriously thinking of ditching the 'amber indicators' for clear ones....opinions...also the chrome strip on the door below the window...ditch or keep? opinions please...:)

ditch the strip unless you can find the rear to match,
i'd go clear inicators unpainted sr/gte front bumper same rear,
wheels that suit (not 17's) 14's:thumb: and deck it
