Why ? i think they're cool (if done tastefully)

They tend to bung up the forum too much and make page loads longer. Not a great problem for those of us on broadband, but some people do still use 56k, and others (myself included) view the site via mobile phones which have a pretty slow connection.

You'd get the few "decent" ones, but tbh most would be crap and make the place look like a kroooooze forum. Plus, even with a size limit you'd still get people uploading massive 300x800px sigs. Remember how many people were on the old site with ***100 pixels max high please*** in their sigs! lol

Sigs are a members only option anyway.

I used to enjoy making them lol but I do think the site is better without them.
